The winelands of Stellenbosch and Paarl are half an hour away and well worth a visit to sample great South African wines.
Tableview and Blaauwberg are a short drive away and offer great views of Table Mountain as well as being ideal beaches for kite surfing and wind surfing.
Nearby is the Koeberg Nature Reserve, which is great for hiking trails as well as dolphin spotting and whale watching from August through to November
Cape Town’s peninsula is easily accessible from Sunset Beach, which can be enjoyed as a half day or full day self drive tour.
Cape Town offers a wide variety of tours which can be booked by the staff at Cinnamon House.
Trips to Table Mountain are advisable especially the cable car to the top of the mountain.
Canal Walk Shopping Centre is very close by and is paradise for those wanting to go on a shopping spree.

Well, a hike on Table Mountain on of the various trails is a must! You could also use the cablecar to get on the top or down! Lion’s Head with it’s stunning views over the city and the ocean should also be on your list! A little secret tip from us: As Table Mountain and Lion’s head are sometimes a bit busy and crowded (mainly on the weekends) think about climbing Devil’s Peak, the characteristic “left side” from table mountain.
A trip to the Cape of Good Hope has also to be on your list! In addition to the stunning scenery, you can meet some baboons and ostrich very close. When you go up early you can link this trip with a drive along the coast of False Bay and visit Simonstown with the famous penguins on Boulder Beach, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg.
The South African wines are superb! Go on wine tour and take the chance of a wine tasting that is offered from all of the wineries around Franschoek, Stellenbosch or Constantia.
If you feel like discovering the vibrant megacity of Cape Town park your car at Long Street and bat around the shops and cafés in the city center.
